How to Add Filters to Your Worship Slides

Just like you add a filter to the picture you post on social media, you can add a filter to your worship slides. You can tone down the colors of a slide, add some vibrancy to the slide or just even the tone of the slide.

Let’s start with a basic still from our store – Christmas Woods 2 Still by Life Scribe Media, which when put into our theme editor looks like this:

But what if we want to warm the picture up a bit? Maybe look like this?

Example #1

Or warm it up but make it darker?

Example #2

Or brighten it up?

Example #3

All of these adjustments or filters can be made in your EasyWorship Theme Editor. Here’s how.

Simply add another text box. Adjust the size of the text box to cover the whole image. Remove the “Double-click to add text” by pressing the space bar a few times. And then select “Arrange > Send to Back”.

Now here’s where the artistic side comes in. Open Inspector and while keeping the additional text box selected, go to Element>Fill. For all of these examples, I used the option of Gradient Fill. Set the opacity to 22.

For color options:

For Example #1, I used the color Pink (Column 1, Row 4) for the option on the left and the color Lavender (Column 7, Row 5) for the option on the right.

For Example #2, I used the color Red (Column 1, Row 3) for the option on the left and the color Brown (Column 2, Row 1) for the option on the right.

For Example #3, I used the color Light Green (Column 4, Row 5) for the option on the left and the color Light Turquoise (Column 5, Row 5) for the option on the right.

With one background and one extra text box, you can create different looks just as you would on Facebook or Instagram. It’s your own personal filter right in EasyWorship software. Try it out and see what combos you can come up with the backgrounds you currently have! Don’t be afraid to be creative and have fun creating your worship slides for Sunday.
