Here at EasyWorship, we pride ourselves on doing everything in our power to make your Sundays easier. Dependency on volunteer-led teams, weather closures, and non-stop tech issues are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things that can immediately change the way your service looks.
This year, our focus is on enabling churches to get the most out of every single aspect of our software. So, that will probably look like more activity on our social accounts, here on our blog, and emails hitting your inbox from our team, all of which will cover core aspects, features, or pro-tips for EasyWorship.
Checking Schedule for Changes
One critical component of running a volunteer-led tech team is enabling your team members to work from a secondary location away from the church. Whether that is at a coffee shop or at home, EasyWorship makes syncing changes made to your schedule a breeze. Any changes you make on a local computer to a schedule or your database will only be saved to that computer (we do have a solution in development that will help alleviate this). Still, there is one handy-dandy feature that bridges the gap a bit.
Whenever you edit a song or presentation, add a new song or presentation, or add/remove media from a schedule, you can sync those changes to your database so you won’t need to make those same changes again in the future. The schedule can also be transferred to another computer, such as the church computer, where you can save what’s in the schedule to that database.
I won’t detail the exact steps to perform those functions in this blog post because my boy Dan on the training team has already put in the hard work to put together a SHORT tutorial on how it works.
